I have been drawing in some form or other for most of my life. When I was about 14, my older brother introduced me to Prismacolor Pencils and portrait drawing and I have been drawing portraits ever since. In high school my subject of choice was Hollywood hunks (of course), which I gave to all my friends as gifts. Then, after taking a few drawing classes in high school and college, I branched out and tried a few different techniques and subjects.

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, married for almost eight years to my best friend, Tom. We have two amazing little boys, Derek and Dallan, who keep me very busy. We live in a small town in northern Utah, where my husband teaches at the local high school. During the boys' nap time and bed time I am able to get out my pencils and help supplement our income.
